Sanskrit Talk and Study Weekend
You may wish to know a little more about why we teach Sanskrit in Schools. There will be a lecture on Saturday 3rd December at Belmont House starting at 7.45 pm. The talk will be give by Warwick Jessup and his wife Elena who run the Sanskrit Dept at the Senior Girls’ and Junior Schools at St James in London. Warwick is a very enthusiastic and lively speaker and I’m sure you would find this of much interest. Also, for those a little more adventurous , there will be study days at Brinscall Hall over the same weekend to look at Sanskrit in more detail.

Christmas Lecture
On Saturday 10th December, the School of Economic Science are organising on a lecture in Belmont House. For those of you who have attended previous talks, you will know just how entertaining Shane Mulhall is as a speaker. This is a very popular event so do book early to be sure of a ticket. The lecture this year will be entitled, “Philosophy and Caring for Yourself – if you don’t who will?”
